To everything, there is a season

A change is about to happen!

This morning, I awoke to this scripture on my mind:

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

As I've mentioned in previous blog articles, the time for me to warn others of the need to be prepared is no longer. The time for me to concentrate and focus on myself and my family being prepared is now. I don't know where the Lord is leading me in this (as far as this blog site is concerned) but I am willing to follow His lead.

Things are about to change with this blog site, and I'm not even sure what that change will be. But, I do hope you will stick around to find out! One thing I had come to mind is...oh, nevermind, I don't want to spoil it! I just hope you will stay tuned to find out what it is!

Speaking of staying tuned, if you haven't signed up to my email list, please take a moment to do so. I don't use it for spam or to sell you anything...it's just to notify you of when I post articles/blogs, and my (not so) monthly newsletters! Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and fill out the form. Oh, and I will NEVER EVER sell or give your email address, or even your name, to others! I believe in all of our rights to privacy!!

When I started writing this, I felt kind of gloomy. I wasn't sure what it all meant. But, as I took time to think about it all and meditate upon the above scripture, an excitement began welling up within me. You know that saying, "when one door closes another opens"? Well, I'm truly excited now to find out what's behind Door Number Two!! Isn't it amazing how the Lord works?!?

One thing I want to leave you with today is this...as Christians, we are in this world but not of this world. We are commanded to love one another; even in desparate times. We are to let His light shine through us; even in the end times. In the end, we still have to answer to Him for those things which we have done as well as those things which we have not done.

As preppers we should be vigilant, as Christians we should keep our focus on the Lord. It is my prayer that you will let Him lead you and guide you through it all.

Until next time...happy prepping, and God bless!

Ephesians 4:31-32, Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
